Jesuit Refugee Service - Eastern Africa
Fr Frido Pflüger SJ, JRS Eastern Africa Director, describes the work Jesuit Refugee Service does in Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Sudan and Ethiopia.

Fr Pflüger discusses the personal impact of working with refugees and internally displaced people, who, despite their circumstances, do not lose hope and who do, in fact, inspire hope others.

Accompaniment is an essential element of the mission of JRS. To accompany means to be a companion. We are companions of Jesus, so we wish to be companions of those with whom he preferred to be associated, the poor and the outcast.
